About the job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Seamstress/Tailor to join our Housekeeping team here at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main purpose of the role is :

To ensure that all requests for alterations or repair made by the guests are carried out efficiently.
To ensure that all uniforms are kept in good repair to the best of her/his ability and with the equipment available.
To ensure that any repairs required to table linen, towelling, bath robes and sheeting is carried out efficiently to prolong their live.
To familiar with the procedures for exchange of linen and uniforms.
To maintain all storage areas are kept clean, neat and tidy at all times.
To maintain a stock of haberdashery items and inform Team Leader when items need to be replenish.
To assist linen inventories.
To deliver requests to both colleagues and guests in an efficient and courteous manner.
To help with the counting of dirty table linen form the F and B areas and distribute out the clean linen.

About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:

Excellent level of English
Friendly, approachable and professional
Previous experience in a similar role
Trustworthy, honest and committed to the position.
