This is fabulous job for Housekeeper who would like a great lifestyle on the lovely island of Jersey.
The job is working for a friendly British family. They have three children, 13 and 14 who are away at boarding school and another of 6 who is at full time school. They are not looking for a nanny but you do have to be child friendly and an experienced driver to occasionally do a school run.
They are looking for a great housekeeper to join them. The role will be to help run their home, doing the cleaning and making sure everywhere is well presented, doing the laundry and ironing, greeting visitors, making sure school uniforms and gym kits are available when needed, and just generally having everything running smoothly. They are not looking for a chef/cook but you may be asked to make a simple family supper occasionally. The family do not have any pets.
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper in a private home for at least 3 years with suitable references. You will need to speak excellent English, able to organise your own day and use your own initiative and be an experienced driver.
This is a live in five day a week job - you will have some weekends free and if you should need to work at the weekends then you will have time off during the week. The family have recently moved to Jersey and are remodelling their home - when the house is finished you will have a separate flat with your own entrance, until then they are living in a rented home and so you will have your own lovely bedroom and bathroom. Salary is negotiable but will be in the region of £500 net per week.
