We are an education based charity, registered in the UK, with offices in London. Our projects are in the UK, India and Malawi. Our ethos is 'to empower through education'. In India and Malawi we provide free education to poor and orphaned children. In the UK, we run a highly successful social enterprise programme called The Wings of Hope Achievement Awards (WOHAA) for UK secondary school students. WOHAA recognises and rewards student fundraising, and allows students to develop skills outside of the classroom in leadership, entrepreneurship, team work, communication and time management. WOHAA is now in its 12th year and to-date 31,500 students from over 420 schools have participated in the programme. Winners of our programme, get valuable work experience placements with our corporate partners, and the overall winning teams get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see their funds in action to teach in the school in India.
