The core responsibilities of the School Relations Manager is to contact our national network of schools and colleges to schedule workshops and other opportunities with teachers. This involves calling schools and teachers to inform them about our (free) upcoming campaigns, relevant to their students.
Role responsibilities: – To contact teachers and careers advisors using telemarketing skills to sell our opportunities for students, encouraging them to host events or promote opportunities. This is a target driven role and the post holder will be responsible for generating bookings to ensure young people respond to online challenges, workshops and events. – Assisting with data collection and recording the data with a high attention to detail. – Taking responsibility for building relationships with key target schools and colleges, ensuring we always have a highly-engaged list of contacts in a range of locations. – This role is also a champion for excellent customer service to our school and education partners.
experience: – A track record of successful sales and marketing – ideally telesales or phone based relationship building – Interest in education or the school and college marketplace – experience communicating with schools and colleges – experience and success in delivering against targets, and understanding the need to meet and exceed KPIs and being motivated to achieve them Personal qualities: – A resilient, tenacious, target-driven individual – A passion for improving people’s lives – across our range of stakeholders from the young people we help and teachers in the schools we work with – A strong communicator who can build and maintain relationships – Ability to communicate and record important information accurately, showing a high attention to detail.
