School Registrar Needed in London

A fantastic opportunity for a capable and experienced Registrar to join an established group of Montessori Nursery schools in London.

Job Specification:
Our School Registrar needs to be friendly and highly organised. As the first point of contact for many of our families you must have a professional and friendly phone manner. Attention to detail is key for this role as the School Registrar processes and responds to all our school applications, enquiries and issues the school fee invoices. The role is very office based and situated in the Head Office not at any of our school locations, applicants must be comfortable working as part of a small office team.
Specialist Skills and experience:

Essential
• First class organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines, with a systematic in approach to tasks and attention to detail.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent ICT skills e.g. Confident and adept in use of Microsoft Package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal with callers and visitors in a welcoming and courteous way.

Desirable
• experience of working in a schools office environment or with young children in a school/nursery environment.
• experience of working in a high end service industry.
• experience working with ACT, Sage, Mailchimp and/or PhotoShop.
• experience with dealing with people for whom English is not their first language, and an ability to adapt language for ease of communication.
Personal Qualities
• Be capable of showing initiative including the ability to think ahead and work flexibly without need for direction.
• Be able to mix easily with people of any culture or background in a professional and friendly manner.
• Be able to maintain a high work pace and prioritise a range of competing tasks.

Conditions of Work
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, (1 hour for lunch)
• 6 Weeks holiday + bank holidays
Start Date: Monday 12th February or later date by agreement.
Salary: £25,000 per annum
