Satellite Campus Manager - London Coventry University Students’ Union (CUSU) is dedicated to improving the lives of students at Coventry University. They are looking forward to exciting times ahead with opening new services nationwide across their satellite campuses to support their members and Coventry University. The organisation offer an exciting career opportunity within a student-led, value-driven, membership organisation. They are looking for an individual who will manage their services at various locations in Coventry University London (Central London), CU London (East London), CU Scarborough and CU Coventry to produce high standards of delivery smoothly. This post will be based at their Coventry University London Campus; however, you must be able to travel to these locations occasionally, including stay overnight.   The successful post-holder will be the key driver to develop the organisations services across their satellite campuses and work with CU University management teams to improve the student experience at these locations. You will need to be highly organised and an excellent communicator. You will have experience of large project management together with experience of managing staff. It is essential that you have worked in a volunteering or a students’ union environment and hold knowledge of students’ needs in higher education. This post is permanent, working full-time 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required. This post is based in London (E1 7JF)Candidates with a disability will be guaranteed an interview, providing they meet all the essential requirements of the post.
experience/qualifications
Educated to degree level experience of working or volunteering in a students’ union experience of large scale project management experience of management of staff Knowledge of students needs in a HE environment.
Responsibilities
To manage the delivery of activities, services and events CUSU Group Satellite Campuses, including CU Online. To act as the liaison for CUSU activity and CUSU Group activity for each location.To support the strategic development of services to satellite campuses in the CUSU Group.To manage staff at CUSU Groups and communicate regularly and effectively.
