We are award winning salons based in Soho and Covent Garden.
We are looking for a manager who can take full command of one of our salons and potentially oversee the development of both our branches.
The managers main duty will be to maintain the reception desk and dealing with general reception tasks - meeting and greeting clients, picking up phone and organising appointments. Beyond that the remit would include:
- Managing the team
- Organising the Rota (making sure enough stylists and staff are stationed at both salons)
- Overseeing all bookings
- Cleaning duties, either through delegation or themselves
- To ensure targets are met (i.e. Minimum takings, minimum amount of re books)
- Ensuring client satisfaction
- Stock control
- In charge of Human Resources , hiring new candidates
- Accounts - end of day, end of week tallies.
- Dealing with client complaints
The candidate should have have experience in the salon sector, either as a stylist or front of house.
Great personable manner is essential, as is the ability to manage a team.
Organisational skills are equally important, and someone with a general conscientious mentality.
