A vacancy has arisen for a full time Sales, Marketing, and Administrative Assistant, based at The Worshipful Company of Bakers, Bakers Hall, 9 Harp Lane, London, EC3R 6DP
Would you like to be part of a small team of just four people at the newly refurbished Bakers Hall, running the sales and marketing function and helping with and interesting variety of administrative tasks?

experience of working in a City Livery Company beneficial, but not essential.
This is a full time role, but flexible, part time or job-share working will be considered, salary on application.
Start date November or December 2022

*Main Responsibilities and Job Tasks:
Helping to sell, market and support the commercial lettings business of Bakers Hall to external clients
Handling campaigns and enquiries, including tasking enquiries and showing round prospective clients
Prepare and submit proposals, manage contract documentation and invoicing
Managing the bookings database, producing regular reports and manage the Bakers Hall website
Liaising with suppliers to source, negotiate prices and coordinate their services
Organise regular internal sales and marketing meetings, report progress and make recommendations, manage agendas and prepare minutes
Represent Bakers Hall at meetings, presentations and exhibitions
Assist the Clerk and Assistant Clerk with other administrative matters, including managing the Master’s diary, organizing Company events and helping to ensure the Company’s administration runs smoothly.
Skills / experience required:
Excellent administration and organisation skills
Strong selling and negotiating skills
Good communication ability (written and verbal), plus excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office, databases and similar software
experience in the use of relevant marketing and PR methods including social media, eshots, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and ability to supervise website updating would be preferable
Pro-active, good attention to detail, with ability to manage own workload and multitask
Good track record of delivering a high standard of administrative work.
