Overview of Role:The position of Sales Manager is instrumental to the success of the venue. As a successful Sales Manager, you will be proactive in seizing every opportunity to succeed, thriving on the challenges of the venue. You will bring entrepreneurial flair to your team and beating targets through market leading sales activity.You will flourish in this quick-paced working environment, tackling all aspects of the role and utilising all the resources available to you, including maximising your teams' strengths and abilities to succeed. This role requires you to demonstrate and deliver increased footfall, a passion for selling within a team environment with integrity and determination to exceed your targets. Duties:Grow and maximize Pre-booked sales, encompassing all aspects of corporate and consumer channels* Work to pre-determined targets as set by the business, maximising all opportunities to achieve these* Recruit, manage, conduct 1-1's and appraisals to ensure the sales team are focused and target driven towards the venue sales strategy* Ensure regular and up to date training for the sales team* Manage the key client base* Create and execute a business plan for the venue, detailing clear targets and objectives* Attend networking events, raising the profile of both yourself as the Sales Manager and the venue within the local community* Arrange and conduct client meetings to promote the venue* Organise and execute Showcase events ensuring attendance of key customers such as Event Bookers and Corporate Clients* Be creative, resourceful and develop local initiatives to drive Pre-booked salesIn Return you will receive:* Industry leading salary* Excellent bonus scheme* Access to an extensive training and development programme* Excellent progression opportunities* 50% food and drink discount in all Novus Leisure Venues Apply today!
