A bit about us.
We are clue Quest: an immersive experience company. We are almost 4 years old and in this short amount of time we have been able to accomplish a truly incredibly amount, and the adventure is growing every day.
clue Quest started its journey in Tottenham, in an old office block with one escape room. The idea of setting up an escape room, a new form of immersive gaming, came from the Craze at the time in Hungary. After months of planning, building and preparation the first team escaped on 9th June 2013. To date, a further 35,000 + teams escaped one of our many rooms, and we are still counting!
We have since moved location and are now located near King’s Cross Station in our fabulous HQ, which has 9 operational rooms.
We are Editor’s Choice on the Evening Standard’s list of London’s best immersive games, we are Critic's Choice on Time Out's London's best escape games list and last but not least we are the #1 Fun and Games Activity to do in London according to our 2,200 + reviews on Trip Advisor.
clue Quest was set up by four brothers and the team has grown to a size of 40 + people. In order to keep our business on the forefront of the London entertainment scene and in order to hit our objectives as a company, we now have the need to hire even further.

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us achieve our goals for expansion and to exceed our financial targets. You will be responsible for driving sales across three main areas, and using your creativity and skillset to be a memorable part of the clients’ and customers’ experience.
You will manage your own time and proactively engage with potential clients to sell in our products and services, and ultimately bring new business to the company. You’ll be working with our existing list of clientele, however bringing your own b2b connections is essential in this role.
You’ll be experienced in an area of Sales and will bring your tenacity and charisma to sell your ideas into senior management. You’ll be passionate about Sales and ideally in gaming/live escape games.
Key responsibilities:
Working independently, you’ll identify clients to target and proactively approach them using memorable and professional methods
You’ll accurately sell in the company’s products by getting to know our individual games and offerings
Manage sales of three key areas:
1) Public:
You will use innovative sales methods to engage the public, encourage the uptake of all clue Quest products and drive footfall
2) Corporate:
You will engage businesses to increase bookings used for team building and staff incentives
3) New product launch:
You will promote our future products, including a tool used by businesses to conduct staff assessments and also as a recruitment aid
You’ll work closely with the Brand Manager and senior management team to formulate strategies and deliver engagement plans
Using your market insight you will get to know our target demographic but also keep on top of consumer trends to spot further potential and growth opportunities
You will manage deals from start to finish, offering excellent customer service throughout, including post-sale
Using your excellent negotiation skills you will secure attractive deals for your clients whilst working within an agreed margin
You will analyse our existing client base and introduce ways of upselling and cross-selling as appropriate
You will constantly be developing new business and reaching out to companies in order to sell in our unique proposition
You will utilise your existing network of connections to create opportunities and manage referrals
The ideal candidate:
You’ll be commercially savvy so you can identify gaps in the market and report back on consumer trends
You will be up-to-date on current trends within the wider market, e.g. Innovations in technology, entertainment news etc and will be familiar with products related to our industry
You’ll possess good copy-writing skills in order to captivate audiences with your email approaches
Your telephone manner will be second-to-none; you’ll be bold, determined and polite
Your background will be from within a Sales environment - you’ll be able to demonstrate a successful sales track record and you’ll have at least two excellent references
You’ll be looking to further your career in a fun, unique and exciting environment, focused on the growth, development and success of the company
Ideally you will have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
You’ll be familiar with the world of live escape gaming and will know the various games the clue Quest offer
You can demonstrate your clear communication, organisation and presentation skills at interview
This is a new and exciting position to clue Quest and we’re looking to hire as soon as possible. Interviews will be held in the form of a telephone conversation, followed by a first-stage in person, participation in one of our games and finally a second-stage in person.
