Sales manager – kanaloa
Salary: Up to £30k + Excellent Bonus (£11,000 pa)
We are a looking for a talented Sales Manager with a proven track record to lead and develop the team and business at Kanaloa.
Kanaloa is the ultimate Tiki bar, taking its name from the Hawaiian God of the Sea and drawing many of its influences from those distant shores. Kanaloa is part of Novus, an industry leader within the bar, clubs and restaurant sector with over 40 venues located in London's most desirable postcodes;
As Sales Manager your role will be to develop new business opportunities and sales strategies as well as nurturing and evolving existing corporate and client relationships. You will implement business initiatives within your team and be responsible for planning, setting targets and reporting on your team’s performance. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a number of key skills including leadership, business and financial acumen, customer service, networking and negotiation skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines in a high-performing and fast paced environment. You will be expected to work alongside the venue’s senior management team to create and deliver industry-leading strategy over the short, medium and long-term goals of the business.
Duties:
Grow and maximize Pre-booked sales, encompassing all aspects of corporate and consumer channels.
Work to pre-determined targets as set by the business, maximising all opportunities to achieve these.
Recruit, manage, conduct 1-1’s and appraisals to ensure the sales team are focused and target driven towards the venue sales strategy.
Ensure regular and up to date training for the sales team.
Manage the key client base
Create and execute a business plan for the venue, detailing clear targets and objectives.
Attend networking events, raising the profile of both yourself as the Sales Manager and the venue within the local community.
Arrange and conduct client meetings to promote the venue.
Organise and execute Showcase events ensuring attendance of key customers such as Event Bookers and Corporate Clients.
Be creative, resourceful and develop local initiatives to drive Pre-booked sales.
