Ecovia is a vibrant fresh and original company working in the sector of windows, security doors, sliding doors and large element glazing. But if you don’t know exactly what all of that means don’t worry, it’s not too hard to pick up the product range and what’s most important is your willingness to learn, your communication skills both verbal and written, and your confidence in sales environments. We’re not your typical double-glazing sales company and we’re not looking for typical double-glazing sales people. What we do is sell luxury, and we work with architects/clients who have an eye for design and interiors. Our German made products are really fantastic, and we sell them with care and attention to detail, and with a belief in the difference of what we do relative to the other companies operating the same sector of the market.
As a young company we are looking for somebody who is keen to add their mark to things, has a sharp eye for detail and not only wants to sell but also to be pivotal in giving some direction to our fast growth. You’ll need to have some basic ideas about dimensions and a bit of construction terminology would be helpful but not essential. As already stated, we want communicators and people who can be passionate about what they do and convey that passion to our clients. You’ll also need to be flexible and able to think outside the box, life in a small company always demands an amount of creativity.
We’re looking for somebody to start fast as we are exhibiting at the Grand Designs Live London trade show beginning on the 5th May and the trade show will be a huge opportunity to meet clients and start building your portfolio. We work on a basic + commission package and we intend to offer these based on a candidate by candidate basis, depending on skill, experience and other factors like if you are mobile (car) etc. We are based in SW9 close to Stockwell tube but will be moving to Battersea when the work on our new showroom is completed (early next year).
As a company we care very much about all our staff and you’d be a member of the family. We’re not looking for a stop-gap, we want somebody who will become a part of the team and is ready to grow and learn together with us.
