Trade Counter Assistant
We have an opportunity for a part time Trade Counter Assistant to support the owner of a plumbers merchant based in Romford, Essex.
The person we are looking to recruit will be enthusiastic, reliable and have a passion for working in a demanding environment. Customer service is key and the ideal candidate will be confident talking to customers with a positive attitude. A UK driving licence is required with the candidate being comfortable driving a medium size van as and when needed.
Day to day duties will include:
• serving customers over the trade counter and in the bathroom showroom
• assisting the store owner with gathering needed material for orders
• ordering products accurately from suppliers
• checking stock levels
• keeping the shop clean, tidy and well organised
• making deliveries or pick up’s as and when required
• help with the day to day running of the business

20-25 hours per week between Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday.
Working hours can be flexible.
