Comptoir Gourmand is a fast growing French Patisserie Company based in Druid Street, Bermondsey. We specialise in traditional handmade French patisserie, made with the highest quality ingredients and expert attention to detail. We currently supply many cafes all over London as well as numerous food markets including Borough Market and Maltby Street Market, in addition to taking part in various food festivals and events.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our MARKET team. The job is basically to sell our cakes on different Food and Producers Markets in central London. One of the most important parts of our business is our excellent customer service.
We maintain that whilst service must be efficient, customers must also be made to feel welcomed and engaged by the traders.
Applicants should be ready to work in a busy selling environment and cope well under pressure. Fluent in written and verbal English.
Candidates must be able to work at the weekends, with our busiest trading day being Saturday. Part time position will only be considered.
