Looking for a passionate and energetic sales and marketing manager to join our team!
We currently have fantastic opportunity for a charismatic sales and marketing person who will look after all reactive bookings and support the Head of Sales in proactive engagement as well as coming up with ideas to drive new business.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Positive attitude and good communication skills, together with commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Flexibly to respond to a range of different work situations, plus the ability to work under pressure.
· Managing all reactive bookings via DMN and other sources.
· Assisting the Head of Sales with proactive tasks.
· To ensure all outgoing sales communication is to company standards.
· Ensuring the reactive conversion rate is at least 70% per week.
· Be the first point of contact for sales and marketing enquiries internal or external, client bookings, guest lists and viewings, ensuring all information is logged as per the venue’s in-house procedure and communicated to the management team.
· Manage and drive table / area bookings through effective networking, converting guest lists and marketing.
· Maximize sales from each table booking and drive repeat business by client networking and communication.
· Working key nights to ensure pro-active upselling.
· Establish and retain relationships with independent event / concierge companies.
· To suggest new promotional ideas / methods and creative ideas for bringing in new business.
· Assist with data collection; customer and corporate.
· Responsible for all booking deposits and payments.
· Organising and printing the run sheet for the floor team by 4pm every day and reservation signs.
· To assist the Head of Sales with brand strategy and development.
· To carry out such further tasks as may from time to time be delegated to them by their superiors.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and overall business objectives of the organisation.
- Preferably 1-2 years experience in a similar sales and marketing role in the hospitality / night life sector.
