AdvisoryKONNECT are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. Your role will be to help us to develop a sales pipeline and increase our market presence for our growing range of product offerings to our prospect clients. You’ll really focus on new business trying to generate interest and opportunities for our management team. You'll become the bridge between our marketing and sales activity, ensuring we maximize our return from our campaign activities. This role will be based at our offices in Kensington, London but will require travel initially within the London area’s and UK Cities.
Our Team:
The Sales and Marketing team is headed up by our Chief Operations Officer, who'll be around to guide and encourage you. You'll be part of our close-knit and passionate team so you'll have like-minded people working with you. Your role will also involve working with other people across the business such as sales and operations - so plenty of knowledge and expertise around you to support you in your role!
Who You’ll Be:
We want to make sure you are set for success, this isn't all about your skills and that is why we would love to talk to you even if perhaps you don't fit all of the below:
+ experience of sales and marketing, any IT and commercial sales experience would be useful.
+ Excellent sales and customer service skills will help with this role.
+ Strong communication skills are essential.
+ A fabulous team player
+ Able to build strong relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Focused and driven to exceed targets and expectations.
+ Organised, self-starter, with high levels of attention to detail.
+ Able to multi-task and work to agreed deadlines and use your own initiative.
+ Willing to attend local events and conferences to generate pipeline.
+ Database Management
+ Email Campaigns, assist with the design and content for newsletters including thinking of key messaging, design concepts, adverts and sponsorship placement. Our email campaigns are a key element of our business to attract high level delegates to our private dining events we run for clients. We would expect for the candidate to have a confident telephone manner in following up with prospect companies/delegates to attend these events.
+ Assist with the design and send of event invitations for our private dining events.
+ Assist with the design and content for all follow up emails with an aim to gather thoughts and opinions from the attendees on the events.
+ Continually gather feedback from delegates, sponsors and partners to aid the continuous development and improvement of the events.
+ Design, print and distribute feedback forms at all events online.
+ Contributing to day to day text and visual improvements on all websites.
+ Social Media: Maintain and contribute to the Social media platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter and promote our private events to our social media audience.
+ Gather all registration data for each event and maintain full attendee list.
+ Summarise attendee data post event
+ Liaise with venue to agree delegate numbers, catering requirements, Audio-visual requirements.
+ Meet and greet delegates at event (some evening and early morning work required)
+ Must have a passion for Sales!
