Sales and Events Coordinator Needed

We create imaginative tailor-made food and catering solutions for our clients, delivered with exceptional service in a inspiring venue.
This role is based in a prestigious and award winning events and hospitality venue hosting Gala dinners, corporate receptions, conferences, meetings and show cases. There are 7 events spaces and a further 8 small meeting rooms, and its combined venue and catering turnover is £1.5m per annum and growing. You will be reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday.We are looking for an energetic, target-driven and passionate Sales and Events Coordinator to join our vibrant and passionate company.
Main Responsibilities:

To take and confirm bookings
To produce weekly enquiry sheet summary
To follow up on enquiries
To conduct sales calls
To accurately raise invoices
To conduct show rounds
To work on exhibition stands and other promotional activities.
To maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients.
To contribute to social media updates and newsletter content.

Ideal Candidate:

Has previous experience in event sales and marketing.
Has digital marketing and social media experience.
Has refined oral and written communication skills.
Has good attention to detail
Has excellent organisation and time management skills.
Has excellent numeracy skills
Is customer focused
Is highly competent in use of MS Office
Is proactive and self-motivated
Is able to work well under pressure
Is enthusiastic and committed to the job and brings creative new ideas to the table.
Is a team player
Is passionate about food
