Odinsol has an exciting opportunity for a Saas Product Manager to join the team based in London. You will work on a full time permanent basis and receive a highly competitive salary of £45,000 -£50,000 per annum.
Odin is a world class boutique agency which serves the media and publishing industry. The successful Saas Product Manager will be working with a small, cutting edge team who are building a product platform to revolutionize paywalls, membership and identity management.
We are recruiting for a Saas Product Manager with experience working on event-driven web services and knowledge of using new technologies to drive value exchange between companies and their end users. You will work full time on our product Blaize – a high performance CDN that is aware of user identities and can be used as a paywall for news and media websites.
Skills and experience needed to become our Saas Product Manager:
- 5 Years experience in managing product development for a Saas platform.
- Understanding of customer-centered design, development of product pricing and positioning strategies.
- experience applying for and managing R and D; grants and funding.
- experience as a Product Manager on technology builds using Node.js and Vert.x.
- An understanding of Java, event –driven programming, REST APIs, Git, and the Atlassian suite.
- Self motivation and ability to thrive in and entrepreneurial environment and has extensive experience working with clients bases in Australasia.
As our Saas Product Manager you will:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Integrate customer feedback and performance metrics continuously into the product roadmap.
- Work with management to secure external funding, including applying for and managing R and D; grants.
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive market and conduct assessment of new competitive offerings.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Create and oversee development and project development processes.
- Meet regularly with all stakeholders
- Manage product budgets for each client engagement.
- A good understanding of agile/lean principles with a willingness to adapt.
- Collect, analyse and respond to user feedback.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on businesses and customer impact.
- Work closely with engineering teams
- Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives and others.
-Evaluate promotional plans
-Act as a product Evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
