We are looking for a live out after school nanny for our two children (5 years old and 7 years old) to work as an after school nanny for about 20 hours a week, with a possibility of more hours during evening babysitting and weekends. The job is based in Kensington, W8. Our budget is £10 per hour.
We are looking for an educator who is fun, energetic, patient and kind. Our children speak Russian and English. We are looking for someone who speaks Russian who will focus on improving our kids' Russian skills and will help with homework from the Russian school. The nanny will also be asked to supervise playdates with English-speaking children, take kids to their after-school activities and come up with fun ways to engage the children.
This role does not require any house cleaning or cooking, however the nanny will need to make sure that the house is tidy at the end of the day. The nanny will be supervising meal times, encouraging good table manners, encouraging the kids to clean up after dinner and tidy up their Toys. The nanny will also assist with bedtime routine.
Role criteria:
- Fluent English, able to help with occasional school homework in English
- Fluent Russian. Able and willing to work on improving our kids' Russian through conversation, reading, games and other activities
- Ability to command authority while being patient, kind and respectful
- experience in a similar role looking after two or more children at the same time
- Excellent references
- Legal right to work in the UK
