You will be able to manage a large team, be a fantastic communicator and be passionate about high quality ingredients and delivering great food. You will also have excellent knowledge about Food Safety and Health and Safety practices and standards. Responsibilities:* Manage the kitchen team to ensure they prep, cook and present the food as per the company specifications.* Ensure that Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations are adhered to at all times and all relevant paperwork is up to date.* Ensure that all menu items are available at all times.* Assist in recruiting, coaching and training the team to deliver a fantastic food experience.* Control food item orders and wastage.* Control and maintain venue food General Practitioner percentage. What talent you need to have:* Previous experience of working in a high volume kitchen, preferably at Head Chef level.* Well-presented and have outstanding cleanliness skills and attention to detail.* Excellent verbal communication skills that enable you to build rapport with your team.* Highly self-motivated with a love of good food and service.* Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.In return:* Competitive salary and incentives* Access to an extensive management development programme.* Superb progression opportunities in an industry leading business.
