Room Attendant – The Zetter Group

We are currently looking for an experienced Room Attendant. As Room Attendant, you need to have a passion for hospitality, a first-class focus on standards, excellent attention to detail and most importantly ensure that the guest is always happy.
Responsibilities
• Clean all allocated rooms and public areas to required standards.
• Support fellow team members to ensure full range of cleaning duties completed as directed on a day-to-day basis.
• To keep corridors, stairways, public and working areas clean and tidy at all times and free from obstructions.
• Maintain guest rooms according to cleaning programs and projects.
• Follow the lost property and Do Not Disturb procedures.
• Report and log any maintenance defects found in rooms and public areas and unsafe methods of working to Floor Supervisor.
• Be familiar with the items offered in the minibar and snack tray.
• Be fully familiar with all the amenities available to guests such as baby cots, extra beds, kettles, iron and iron board, etc.
• Ensure a full handover is carried out at the end of every shift.
Skills
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Extremely organised with the ability to multi-task.
• A confident self-starter comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of Protel desirable.
• Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations.
• An effective communicator with the ability to manage relationships with both peers as well as senior management.
• A team player with a cool head and ability to work collaboratively with others towards team goals.
