ROKA – Head Sommelier
We are looking for an experienced and creative Head Sommelier to lead our dynamic Sommelier team at ROKA.
Reporting directly into the General Manager and Group Head Sommelier your role will be to successfully drive the wine sales at our busy restaurant and lounge. Whilst managing an already renowned wine list, we will be looking for you pull on your knowledge to further enhance the selection and offering. As well as ensuring guests are given an exciting and memorable experience, the role requires you to lead and motivate a team of Sommeliers.
Anyone applying to be the next Head Sommelier of ROKA should already possess a wealth of wine knowledge and be able to couple that with a successful background of high profile and high volume restaurants. As the role is floor focused we are looking for personality, charisma and enthusiasm as well as someone who can further enhance relationships with staff and guests. The role requires a hands on management approach to work as well as supervising a team.
