At Daylesford, we’ve been farming organically for over 35 years, first in Staffordshire and then the Cotswolds. What began as a simple passion for real food has grown into Daylesford as we know it today. We are one of the most sustainable organic farms, and own some of the most sustainable restaurants in the whole country.
About the role:
As a Retail Team Member, you will be able to deliver an excellent customer service, sharing the great food and retail experience with our customers.
The role will require energy and shed-loads of confidence as you will be working in a fast paced and fun environment as part of a supportive team.
Ideally you’ll have worked in similar food, restaurant or café environments before or you’ll simply have a passion for good food so that the basics come easily to you. We are open 7 days a week so being able to work flexibly is vital. You’ll be chatting to our customers every day so having a great level of spoken English is pretty important too. Being able to talk confidently to customers about our food and flavours, including how we grow, bake, cook, raise our animals is important. Our customers care about good food, we'd like you to be able to hold a good conversation with them.
You’ll also have a unique opportunity to work with people who truly enjoy what they do as well as the prospect of learning interesting stuff about our farm, our ingredients, our produce, our culture and what makes us special.
Responsibilities:
• Share and deliver an amazing food experience to our customers.
• Deliver fantastic produce and outstanding Store, Cafe and Kitchen cleanliness.
• Accurately handle cash while using our till systems.
• Learning about our products/production.
• Engaging with customers.
