The Medieval Banquet is looking for a new member of the cast and crew to run our small gift, merchandise and costume rental shop.
You will need to be an enthusiastic part of a show and themed experience, where you can make your sales with character and skill. You will need to be a people person and a half because our guests expect to be transported to a fantasy medieval world! To do this you will need excellent communication skills. If you get it right you will make our customers’ night and help them have an unforgettable experience.
Important information
• Our opening times are generally late afternoon to 11:00 Wednesday
through to Sunday though they are dictated by show times.
• Located at the iconic St Katharine Docks with great transport access.
• All aspects of sales and customer service will be delivered to the customer
• Inventory control and management is part of the role.
Whilst not a requirement, the ideal candidate would possess the following background or experience:
• experience in retail, sales and design would be an advantage.
• Set design or other creative spatial thinking skills
• Book keeping or similar administrative skills
• Any performing arts training
Compensation information
• Hour pay starting at £8.50 regardless of age
• Annual bonus available with agreed targets
• Flexible administrative hours
• 28 days holiday pro-rated up to working hours (Including Bank Holidays),
• Staff lunch and dinners available
• Work clothes provided
