Restaurant Manager, Ikoyi
About Us:
Ikoyi, Central London's first West African inspired restaurant, opened mid-July 2022 and has since received favourable reviews from the Evening Standard (4/5 Faye Maschler), The Telegraph (4/5 Michael Deacon) as well as coming in at 41 on Time Out's recent list of 100 best restaurants in London.
The main restaurant seats 42 covers and is supported by a small bar with space for a further 6 and is located in St. James's Market, a recently opened development by the Crown Estate, which sits between Haymarket and Regents Street St. James's, minutes from Piccadilly Circus.
We are a young, highly motivated team who strive to be the best at what we do, exploring West African ingredients at the highest level, whilst creating a memorable experience for all our guests in a comfortable setting. The team is pushed to apply high levels of detail in every aspect of the service.
Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management and overseeing of reservations
- Management and overseeing Beverage General Practitioner ’s and Ordering
- Recruitment, training and management of FOH staff
- Daily Cash-Up and Accounts / Till Management
- Service management in line with brand ethos
- Managing In-house and External Events
The Ideal Candidate
- Must be committed to what will be a demanding but also rewarding job.
- Should have experience of working in the industry for a minimum of 3 years in a quality driven environment, some fine dining experience will be favourable but not essential.
- Must be an excellent communicator and passionate about developing and training, with an emphasis on team building.
- Open minded and looking for something unique.
