Job Title: Restaurant Manager for Award Winning Pizza Brand
Terms: Permanent, full time. Competitive salary.
Description: Award Winner as Time-Out Best Local Restaurant, Zia Lucia is looking for a motivated and passionate Restaurant Manager to manage our first pizza restaurant in Islington with wood-fired oven coming from Naples, offering different types of doughs, leveraging on the Founder’s expertise in the pizza making and restaurants’ management. The restaurant is very popular with clients and has a great press coverage (more than 150 articles including Financial Times, Easy Jet Magazine, Metro, Evening Standard, etc). We have ambitious growth plans for the next 5 years and we are looking for the right candidates to be part of our growth story. Second restaurant opening in January 2022. Our menu is focused on pizzas, and accompanied by a selection of starters, salads and desserts. We source fresh top quality ingredients from local suppliers. Starters are Italian style and made with ingredients linked to pizza (eg mozzarella, burrata, vegetables, cured meat); salads are made from fresh ingredients and desserts will be made at the restaurant.
Below the key responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager:
1. Overall responsibility of the restaurant, operations, staff, and clientele
2. Ensure compliance with regulation and licences
3. Responsible for till and cash management
4. Manage suppliers, orders and control wastage of raw material
5. Prepare shifts for staff and approve holidays
6. Oversee product quality and preparation of doughs
7. Assign monthly tips to staff
8. Manage recruitment process for the venue
9. Manage bookings
10. Take orders and serve tables
11. Train, assign responsibilities, integrate new joiners
12. Store monthly invoices and order them by suppliers
13. Responsible for Deliveroo
14. Prepare accurately monthly spreadsheet for staff payment
