Restaurant manager needed for a fantastic new modern grill, raw, bar and parlour opening in Notting Hill with innovative cocktails, alongside an extensive wine list.
Candidate should be service focused and will play an integral part in assisting the operation manager.
Responsibilities:
Manage costs at the site: maximize sales and minimise waste/costs
Respond to customer requirements
Meet sales, wage, and operation targets
Contribute to developing the business activities and turnover
Create and maintain a work environment that encourages communication
Establish SOP’s to maximize efficiencies.
Present yourself as a professional and motivated ambassador of the company.
Select and recruit staff that are engaging, efficient, articulate, and well presented
Plan for and oversee adequate rotas and staffing levels, considering skills mix and business needs
Promote a culture that encourages employee participation, a professional approach, open communication, a fun exciting workplace and supports the company values of 'being the best you can be’
Plan for and develop staff competency through training, coaching, monitoring and appraisals
Maintain the upkeep and safe condition of the premise and equipment
