A restaurant General Manager is needed - NEW OPENING - IbizaWe are looking for a Restaurant General Manager to help open this amazing restaurant based in the heart of Ibiza - OPENING Summer 2022This restaurant is going to be open for the season in a high-profile location in the heart of the City and will be open all day, and will take the traditional Japanese dining to another level Besides the specialities of the Robata grill the restaurant has a sophisticated menu of Sakana - a variety of small dishes, Osume - made on request and the Hibachi fire bowl - a Japanese small hot plate on charcoal.In addition, daily fresh sashimi and delicious Maki rolls are served. The extensive wine cellar includes top wines from all over the world, of which a selection of 13 wines is served by glass and sumptuous cocktails. Being part of one of the best restaurant groups in Europe at the moment this is a great opportunity to relocate to one of the best cities in Europe/The world having been voted on the top 20 cities in the world for quality of life.We need:* Worked as a Restaurant General Manager in a similar Premium style restaurant for at least 2 years* Current experience as a General Manager in a similar restaurant environment where quality and consistency go hand in hand is essential.* A General manager who has ideally worked in Ibiza before* An eye for detail and a Customer comes first mentality is a must along with the ability to forge long standing relationships with regular customers* A restaurant manager who is humble in their approach, confident but approachable, likeable yet firm* Fluent with English and Spanish is a Huge plus* Has a good understanding of Restaurants, Food and cocktails* The passion and the energy to drive the business forwards with an entrepreneurial flair* A natural ability to provide great customer service and develop your team* You are instinctively service inspired and don't compromise for an easy life, always striving to encourage the highest standards in others.* You've inspired your staff, coaching and training the individual to reach their potential, building succession for your businesses future* You're a positive ambassador, hungry for a challenge and keen to make a real difference within one of the Countries most exciting restaurant groups* Natural leadership skills with focus on team's development, training and progression.* The ability and confidence to lead a large team in a calm and inspirational manner.* Strong and effective communication skills* In return:* Excellent basic salary of Circa €50,000 per year (pro rata)We are taking applications now for this role and successful applicants will be contacted for an interview, we can only accept applications who are eligible to live and work freely in the EU.
