Fish and Chips is the specialty, but we also serve traditional classic British dishes such as our famous Shepherd's Pie and Steak and Kidney Pudding. To complement the fabulous food, we also offer an extensive list of quality wines and retro cocktails.
The Mayfair Chippy is operated by Eatbrit Ltd who also operate a busy restaurant within Harrods and a high profile event catering business. As an expanding and growing business Eatbrit Ltd can offer great opportunities for promotion and progression.
As a General Manager you must ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining food and service standards. The General Manager will not only be responsible for the day to day operation but also for the financial performance and profitability.
Key Duties
Leading a team of 20 plus staff
Delivering the highest standards of hospitality, service and food quality
Responsible for day to day operational management
Staff management, development and scheduling and payroll
Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage
Good financial knowledge including ordering, stock control, sales forecasting and budgeting
The ability to oversee all aspects of the restaurant front and back of house
Demonstrable working knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety
Knowledge of Excel, Word and good IT skills.
