Residential Property / Conveyancing Solicitor (1 - 3 years PQE, South-East London)

Residential Property / Conveyancing Solicitor required for a long-established and friendly CQS-approved local law firm based in East Dulwich and situated close to Peckham Rye station also (both zone 2).

This full time permanent role would suit a personable Residential Property solicitor with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience who is looking to develop their own case load and strong client relations (without the strains and stresses of a  corporate environment).

The successful Conveyancing Solicitor must be able to work their own case load without substantial secretarial support.

The day-to-day responsibilities will cover the entire life cycle of Conveyancing, from initial client meetings and taking their instructions, through to searches, liaison with the purchasing/conveyancing solicitors as appropriate, preparation of contracts, exchange and completion.  You must be able to demonstrate having autonomously handled all aspects.  Typical cases will include (but not be limited to) all stages of Freehold, Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Auctions, New builds, Lease Extensions, Collective Enfranchisements, Rights of First Refusals.
