Oriole is seeking a key member of the team to come on board at the start of September.
The Reservations Manager is the customer’s first point of contact to the venue whether by phone or email/DMN so is responsible for giving a great first impression. The Reservations Manager should be a professional, friendly and organised individual with strong communication skills, an excellent telephone and written manner and should also be computer literate. Knowledge of operating booking system – Designmynight - desirable.
Duties include:
Managing the Inbox
Answering the phones
Managing the online booking system Design My Night.
Updating the website on a regular basis about drinks, music and food offering.
First point of contact for Private Hires, day and evening.
Helps to manager in-house events
Supports the Directors and Social Media Manager in Marketing.
Supports the external Press team by responding to Press requests.
On site management including overseeing day hires and taking deliveries.

Skills and experience:
Working independently and as a team
Excellent telephone Manger
Good command of written English
Excellent at prioritising tasks
Working to deadlines
Being the liaison between daytime Head Office functions and Service, when the bar opens to the public.
Good knowledge of email and Word. Knowledge of other software – In Design, PhotoShop, a plus.
experience of managing a website desirable but not essential.
An interest in top end drinks service, cocktails and spirits. An interest in live music.
Using initiative and being a self starter.
Friendly, can do attitude.
Flexible approach with team members and customers.
At least one year’s experience in a role similar to this.
Hours and Remuneration
27 Hours a week, 10 / 11.30 – 5pm, Tuesday to Friday.
2 Hours on a Saturday (remote)
