Research Volunteers for Paid Drug Research

Posted: 31-05-2024
Place: West End, London

Hello,
Our research team at UCL is investigating the effects of Cannabidiol (CBD) on cigarette abstinence. If you a smoker (daily) and would like to take part, please get in touch via the advert below.
Two of the three sessions will be a weekday/weekend morning (e.g. 2 mondays at 10am, in a row). Therefore if you are not available in the mornings, for example, if you work full time, and cannot make weekends - then this study may not work for you. Part of the study is that you cannot smoke for 12 hours before these 2 morning sessions, so it does require some small commitment. You will be given either CBD or placebo across the two weeks.
You will be reimbursed for your time (> £100)
You must be London-based, in good health, and able to pass a urine test for ALL drugs on each day (including cannabis)
When you get in touch please let us know:
a) name
b) email address
c) how many cigarettes you smoke per day
d) if you are based in london
This study is being carried out at University College London and has full ethical approval (ref: 7725-002). Your participation is completely confidential and you are free to withdraw at any time.
