Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Resales Manager to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum.
The Resales Manager role:
Work closely with the Senior Resident sales manager and Head of Marketing to influence and inform sales strategies; maintaining and increasing sales through their implementation. You will contribute to Peabody’s goals for growth through the resale of shared ownership homes, the sale of additional shares, tenant sales, and all other Resident Sales products. You will also ensure all income and related targets are exceeded, and to provide excellent customer service to our residents.
Key responsibilities of our Resales Manager:
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Sales Coordinators, ensuring sales targets are achieved, including income and customer service targets, and continuously monitor performance against target.
- Work closely with the Senior Resident Sales Manager to influence and inform resale policy, procedure and delivery.
- Ensure the provision of outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers both personally and by all members of the resales team; Ensure all customers receive excellent customer service throughout the sales process and identify areas of improvement, training, development and learning opportunities.
- Work with the Senior Resident Sales Manager and Research Manager to establish and regularly review Sales Standard Employers Requirements to ensure that our resale service meets the needs and aspirations of our target market.
- Continuously monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of resales from marketing to completion and identify areas for improvement.
Knowledge/experience/skills required by the Resales Manager:
- Previous sales management experience within Resident Sales.
- Managing relationships with all external parties including surveyors, solicitors and IFAs.
- An understanding of the affordable housing sector, Local Authority and HCA requirements in line with the Capital Funding Guide.
- Proven experience managing third parties such as IFAs and surveyors.
- Highly organized, solution-focused problem solving skills, able to work under pressure in a dynamic sales environment and manage high volume of projects and deadlines.
- experience of delivering excellent customer service within sales team.
- Working knowledge of and proven experience ensuring compliance with Data Protection laws, the Consumer Code and other relevant legislation.
- Excellent numerical skills
