Reinsurance Claims Manager

£70000 - £75000 per annum
A leading Lloyds Syndicate is seeking a Reinsurance Claims Manager to oversee their Reinsurance claims team across two EU locations. You will be responsible for the oversight of all inward reinsurance claims and assessing best estimates for the purpose of reserving exposure to major risks.
Role Responsibilities
* Leading a team of 3, responsible for oversight of all inward reinsurance claims
* Working closely with the Head of Claims on business strategy and claims direction
* Identify events impacting the inwards reinsurance book and the ascertain potentially impacted policies
* Handle significant inward reinsurance claims through to conclusion
* Analyse notifications, updates and reports to assess FGU
* Build and enhance relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Legal Professionals
* Ensure claims MI and reporting requirements are met
* Ensure all compliance and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and ensure all emerging risks are reported
* Respond to wider business needs and complete ad-hoc duties where required
Skills / experience Required:
* Excellent technical knowledge of the Lloyds or Company Reinsurance market
* Ideally technical knowledge of the Property and/or Marine claims market
* Ability to manage and develop key relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Third Parties
* experience working across a global remit including USA and S.America
* Strong understanding of regulatory controls within insurance claims
* Ability to use Lloyds ECF system
* ACII / CII highly preferred
