What the Job entails:
• To be accountable and responsible for the effective operation of the project for the provision of a residential service to adults with autism and learning difficulties, in accordance with the ‘Quality Awards Framework’, associated regulations and the policy and procedures relating to the project.
• To set objectives for the performance of the service; to monitor, maintain and improve service delivery
• Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, promoting and reinforcing Precious Homes strategic goals and objectives, encouraging staff to input into the development and maintenance of operational service delivery
• Analyse and report on projects to Operations director, seeking ways to improve service delivery performance.
• Assist Operations director in developing and implementing new approach to service delivery
What we need from you:
It’s essential that you will have experience managing people with Autism and learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with people with learning difficulties (2 years at manager level)
• Proven track record in supporting people from placement breakdowns and transitions
• Strong experience of managing and leading a large team in delivering results, sound knowledge of supporting people with behaviours that challenge and working in a Person Centred way
• experience in managing large support packages for complex needs
All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
