We have a position available for a friendly and motivated nurse looking to bring fun and organisation to our team. You will be caring for a lovely 37 year old man in his own home. Due to an Acquired Brain Injury he requires full care and assistance with daily activities. He has busy days with multiple therapies, and you will be required to assist with these, as well as providing full care and taking him on outings most days. The ideal candidate will be fun, friendly, motivated, empathetic and work well in a team environment.
This is a full time, permanent position, with the potential for the right candidate to move into a management role once our Deputy Team Leader leaves later in the year. As well as the above daily tasks, you will oversee the team of around 15 caregivers and nurses, and provide administration duties such as rostering, timesheets/payroll, equipment orders and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team. Pay rate for this additional role will be discussed at a later date if/when it arises.
Details:
12-Hour shifts
£24/Hr weekdays, £26/hr weekends
Must be available for a mixture of weekdays, weekends and nights.
Must have a clean, full driver’s licence.
You must also have:
Seizure management experience
experience with PEG feeding/medication administration.
Good manual handling skills
Excellent English, both verbal and written.
A friendly, outgoing attitude
A strong work ethic
