As our Regional Sales Director you will drive new and incremental premium income and market share growth to Vitality by developing sales with our Franchise Director Appointed Representative. Managing the key relationships with individual franchises and ensuring they meet the objectives presented to them.
You will also maximize sales opportunities in all product sectors including life, health and business protection. Manage under performance in a fair and consistent manner whilst meeting the requirements of the organisation. Ensuring the channel and company is run in a compliant manner.
Responsibilities as our Regional Sales Director include:
- Drive new and incremental API to Vitality with allocated Franchise Directors and other areas as required.
- Exceed Vitality API sales targets.
- Manage performance of Franchise Directors.
- Franchise Distribution oversight.
- Lead recruitment of new FDs.
- Develop sales in top 10 accounts in conjunction with Franchise Directors.
- Work with the relevant NAM to increase market share growth in key distributors.
- Lead negotiations for fair and appropriate account management between channels.
- Present and deliver key Vitality messages.
To become our Regional Sales Director, you will have the below skills and experience:
- Ideally FPC/QCF4 or equivalent qualified.
- Educated to A Level standard.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK protection and intermediary markets.
- Significant industry experience in a sales/technical role.
- Sales and commercially focused.
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Able to act at Board and individual level.
- Excellent negotiating and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and prepared to initiate a high level of field based activity.
- Comprehensive industry knowledge (regulatory, technical and competitor).
- Capable of working under pressure, using own initiative and with minimal supervision.
- Flexible working style.
- Must act with honesty and with high integrity.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, using initiative and able to set deadlines.
- Act in accordance with the Vitality values.
