We're looking for a Referencing Booster to join the Goodlord family for an initial period of about 3 months. Our Referencing team plays an integral role within the tenancy process. Verifying details supplied by tenants and guarantors alike allows agents to confirm deals faster than the speed of light.
You'll focus on affirming information provided by prospective tenants in order to quickly advise letting agents whether they've found their perfect match. Resourcefulness, problem-solving ability and a brilliant phone manner will all be key to this role.
Responsibilities
Contacting tenants and their referees via phone, text and email to obtain documentation to support tenancy applications
Working across various platforms to verify specific details
Getting to grips with our unique and inventive processes to obtain information required
Skills and experience
You're a self starter who can get their head around with new systems and processes at a pace
You're technology literate and can jump between different tools as and when needed
You have strong organisational skills and a fantastic eye for detail
Good telephone manner; respectful but assertive when required
Ability to prioritise in an efficient manner
Past experience in cold calling or objection-handling roles a plus
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and perfect written and spoken English
Requirements
This is a part-time position consisting of one shift of 6 hours each day, Monday through Friday (30 hours per week total). Every day, you would be working from either 8am to 2pm OR 2pm to 8pm.
You will need to provide proof you can legally work in the United Kingdom
Benefits
