We are Living Packets, an ambitious start-up on a mission to make sending international, instant deliveries a reality for everyone. We are making it more affordable, accessible and safe than ever before, while eliminating the need for packaging. This means you can send and receive an item anywhere in Europe within a few hours without ever losing track of it.
What is the job?
We are beta-launching our instant delivery service with a few UK based clients and we are recruiting volunteers to become 'voyagers' (couriers). You will have a free return to Paris and all expenses paid of course! What a dream job, right?!
You will have nothing else to do other than letting us know when you are free to do the return trip to Paris. Your job will be to go to King's Cross to pick up a Living Packet (secured parcel), jump on the Eurostar to Paris, drop the Living Packet in Gare du Nord Paris to our counterpart and come back. It's that easy!
The only catch is that when you give us your availability, you might call for an immediate and last minute departure between 8am and 4pm.
And why not doing a full internship with us?
If you want to get more experience in a start-up and help a bit more during this exciting time, we also welcome interns in Social Media, PR and content marketing to work directly with the CEO. We are all self-funded but we will be paid your expenses and lunch. This is a great opportunity to experience entrepreneurship and start-up life first-hand!
Students applying for this internship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism. Applicants should also have strong writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of social media. Only interns proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications should apply.
