Job Summary
Professional Linguistics Upper Study (PLUS) has been in operation for over 40 years representing one of the world’s largest and finest organisations in language teaching. We have offices in London, New York and Milan. Accredited by the British Council, we offer summer English courses for young international students across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant for a 6-month contract to attract, screen and select suitable Leisure Staff to fill our job vacancies in our Summer Schools.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Develop and manage effective advertising campaigns to recruit staff for seasonal residential programs.
Place job adverts on multiple channels to ensure a sufficient volume of applications.
Identify partners as source of potential applicants.
Conduct interviews
Fill open positions efficiently
Ensure that all pre-employment checks (DBS checks, references, eligibility to work in the UK) are fully carried out.
Monitor and apply Human Resources recruiting best practices.
Provide reports to the rest of the team
Take part in all necessary training, safer recruitment practices and child safeguarding.
Plan, organise and take part in induction weekends.
Act as a point of contact between the company and candidates before and during their contracts.

Qualifications and Skills
Requirements

Solid ability to conduct the interviews
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Able to build rapport and credibility quickly.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and prioritize a varied workload.
Proven ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong decision-making skills

Start Date: February 2022
Contract length: 6 months (until the end of July 2022)
Location: Central London
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Salary: £20,000 + per annum.
