Our regular client is looking for a new receptionist to join the team.
Main duties and responsibilities will include.
• Welcoming and greeting all guests, while ensuring to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Accountable that all guest are directed to the correct private room or table.
• Cloakroom responsibilities
• Dealing with bookings by phone, e-mail, letter, fax or face-to-face.
• Handling telephone, emails and face-to-face enquiries.
• Screening phone calls and operate a switchboard while ensuring that all calls are transferred to the correct department.
• Assist with preparation and printing menus as required.
• Departure of guests, handing them coats on departure and ensuring a pleasant farewell.
• Keeping the reception area tidy at all times.
• Sorting and distributing post
• Dealing with complaints or problems
• Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment.
• Be involved and contribute to regular team meetings.
• Preserve at all time the Club highest of standards.
Key skills and personal qualities required.
• Great communication and organisational skills, along with a professional and friendly approach.
• Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations and ability to priorities work.
• Able to work effectively under pressure with good computer literacy and excellent attention to detail.
•Available to shift work – morning and evening.
Salary: £22,000 per annum
Hours: Alternating Weeks of 9AM - 5PM and 5PM - 12AM.
