We are looking for a front of house person in the reception team at our newly opened Japanese restaurant Yen. Located on the Strand, the restaurant offers authentic Japanese food in a stunning, grand environment.
The role involves the following responsibilities: welcoming guests by greeting, handling coats and personal items, taking guests to the table, answering incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department, replying to guests’ emails, making reservations on the booking software and communicating customers’ requests and needs across to all teams.
Directly relevant experience is not required but general experience in office tasks is welcomed; an enthusiastic, positive and energetic person is what we are looking for. Business level of spoken and written English language is a must. Salary is above market rates; full time contracts only; starting as soon as possible.
