This opportunity is to support children, young people and adults with autism within their home environment, you will help them with their social communication, interaction and their hobbies. You will be able to work on your communication skills, your imagination and your other transferable skills to enable the person with autism and the family to have optimum life experiences. This opportunity enables you to work on problem solving, listening and coaching skills. We offer training that covers an introduction to autism, safeguarding, working with families and communication, you will get supervision and we reimburse reasonable travel expenses. We ask you to complete an application form and we have an informal interview and try and place you soon after the training.
