Job Description
- Supporting the QA Manager, as Quality Assurance Assistant.
- Assisting with the implementation of HACCP, food safety procedures and global standards for the unit including reviewing and improving the existing standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits, reviewing the unit’s microbiological schedule and taking action if any deviation may occur, developing and implementing a crisis management procedure and carry out test runs for adapting the procedure, training our staff in basic food safety, improving the traceability system to include packaging traceability and mass balance traceability plus assist the QA Manager in developing an adequate cleaning schedule, monitoring and verifying the cleanliness.
Preferably a holder of a food related qualifications and ideally possess good knowledge of food safety legislation, quality processes and HACCP.
Must be computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office. A you will enjoy a fast-paced environment, have good people and communication skills plus have the willingness to travel regularly.
Spoken and written English language is essential.

Starting Hourly wage of £ £8.50 - £ 9 or Salary equivalent of £ 18K - £ 21K, depending on experience.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 09:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs
Saturday work day may apply depending on circumstances.
