THE ROLE
We are currently looking to recruit a Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE in Immigration Law to join our well-established team. You will be expected to be able to deal with following type of privately funded matters:
- First-Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal advocacy
- Judicial Review matters
- Appeal matters including drafting permission to appeal applications
- Asylum matters including Initial and fresh claims
- Drafting letters and witness statements
- Liaising with courts, clients and other authorities
- Immigration Applications including EEA applications, Appendix FM applications
- Human Rights applications
- Removal and Detention matters
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate:
- must have an excellent knowledge of the Immigration Rules, Policies, Regulations
- be able to deal with broad range of Immigration cases
- must be able to give professional advice on behalf of the firm to clients
- Be self-sufficient and highly motivated with excellent communication skills;
- Be able to communicate fluently in Hindi or Punjabi
- Be highly organised and be able to manage own caseload
- Be professional, personable and efficient
- must have high standard of client care and ability to produce high quality work
- Level 2 Accredited Solicitors preferred
SALARY OFFERED
Full Time: Competitive salary offered depending on experience
