SMART Nursery and Pre-school is looking for some very special and talented new team members to join our growing family.
We are expanding, and happily demand for our services is growing, so we are now able to offer places to excellent, passionate and dedicated teachers.
​
SMART takes an innovative approach to early years care and teaching. Our curriculum blends traditional British values with an outdoor Scandinavian philosophy, both of which are underpinned by the Montessori approach of learning through experience in the environment using reasoning, imagination and creativity. We are proud to say that our brilliant teachers have helped our little ones become happy and well-developed children, who have gone on to great prep schools in the local area.

EARLY YEARS TEACHER (Pre-school 2-5 yo)
Degree: EYT, EYP, QTS, BA (Hons) degree in Early Years Education
​
Passion for teaching and Early Years settings
Real love of working in teams
3 years work experience in preschool environment
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Health and Safety regulations
Good time management and communication
Good references
Relevant First Aid, Health and Safety and DBS checks in place
​
QUALIFIED NURSERY NURSERES (Nursery 1-2 yo)
Degree: Minimum Level 2 or beyond or currently studying for a degree​
​
Passion for teaching and caring for children in the Early Years settings
Real love of working in teams
Relevant working experience in a nursery
environment
Good knowledge of the EYFS
Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
Good communication and time management
Good references
Relevant First Aid and DBS checks in place
TEACHING ASSISTANTS (Pre-school 2-5 yo)
​Passion for teaching and caring for children in the Early Years settings
Real love of working in teams
Some experience in nursery/ pre-school environment
Knowledge of the EYFS
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
Good communication and time management
Good references
Relevant First Aid and DBS checks in place
