An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Tyre Fitter to join our friendly team in the prestigious Belgravia neighbourhood in central London.
The Role
As a tyre fitter you will be responsible for fitting and repairing a range of tyres in a methodical and timely manner. You will ensure that all work is completed promptly and to the highest possible standard, adhering to health and safety policies at all times.
Main responsibilities include:
• Accurate repair and tyre fitting to all makes of vehicles
• Tyre balancing
• Reporting on tyre condition for any and all cars on site
• Carrying out wheel alignment checks and adjustments
• Carrying out “health checks”
• Carrying out pre-sales inspections for the car sales department
• Assisting other workshop technicians with repairs as and when required
• Keeping the tyre and wheel alignment bay clean and tidy at all times
• You may also be required to undertake other duties from time to time
Our Ideal Applicant:
• The successful applicant will have previous experience as a commercial tyre fitter (minimum 1 year)
• Qualified in tyre fitting
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Be self-motivated and have the ability to produce high quality work to tight deadlines
• The willingness to constantly learn and be able to improve your own performance
• Have a full clean Driving Licence
Contract: Permanent, full-time (5.5 days p/w)
