Our flagship site, Pachamama is a successful, innovative and well established Peruvian inspired restaurant, based in Marylebone, Central London. We have recently opened Chicama, a modern Peruvian-British seafood restaurant in Chelsea and are looking for sensational people to join our teams.
We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator for our Pachamama Group. Dedication, passion and the desire to develop yourself are vital to the role, as is the ability to deliver a warm and informed style of service.
About You:
• Have at least 3 years of Purchasing experience in Food and Beverage Industry
• Knowledge of food markets in London
• Having experience working with food suppliers
• English Language (fluent)
• Full English Driving Lenience without Points or outstanding fines (will be checked)
• Be physically fit and ready for weight liftings (occasionally)
• Take good care of the Car a drive very carefully
• Be proficient user of Microsoft Office, Emails, What’s App chats etc. (is a must)
Tasks:
• A candidate will be trained by the maintenance manager to do the job
• Work 5 days a week, from 03:00 until 12:00 every day, Saturday / Sun days off.
• A candidate will have to drive to designated markets and purchased seafood, meat, poultry, dairy, fruits, vegetables, liquids etc
• A candidate must understand prices and have analytical approach towards choosing the right products the next time
• can identity the freshness of certain products (by smell, looks, etc)
• Be angle to keep track of seasoning and price fluctuations (keep his own spread sheet sixth average weekly prices)
• All the purchased products must be distributed among the Two restaurants in London (address below)
• Apart from executing purchasing, a candidate must be able and always ready to help Maintenance Manager in other duties.
Conditions:
• Official full time employment contract
• Annual salary ( please confirm with Vitaliy)
• Salary is paid once a month (every Friday)
• Report to Maintenance Manager
• Parking the car will have to take place at 18 Thayer st , W1U3JU
• Staff food twice a day (at 11:00 and 16:00
