Proud Camden is looking for a Press Officer with solid PR experience to manage campaigns across our venue group, including one of London’s most popular music venues, Proud Camden, our canal-side restaurant in Dalston, Proud East and our world famous burlesque venues Proud Cabaret. Our venue group expands year on year and we need capable Press Officer who can support our growth further. This is a very positive position for the company to be in. We need a press officer with a proven track record who can come in and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise, implement, manage and report on effective PR campaigns from start to finish.
- Co-ordinate press cuttings and create PR reports.
- Must have strong contacts within the music / lifestyle industry and have the ability to pitch for and secure high level media coverage both online and in print.
- Confidently handle media enquiries.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media.
- Identify coverage angles and stories, liaise with journalists and place stories to secure coverage.
- Research and write press releases, interviews and other features.
- Manage press lists and manager media launch events.
