Pub General Manager.
Candidate to help develop and increase the commercial success for this new pub in central Holborn (5 day week trading Mon to Fri). In this management position, you would oversee the running of all aspects of the business, including front-of-house work, staff recruitment, accounting, stock control and possibly additional duties like marketing and advertising. At least 5 years experience in a management position in hospitality. Looking for someone who’s strengths are in delivery of service, training staff, communicating and accounting. Good knowledge of Ales, Beers as well as other alcohols a must.
Key responsibilities
·        Recruiting, training and motivating your staff.
·         Doing regular stock-takes and ordering as necessary.
·         Handling deliveries
·         Maintaining the condition of beer and wine.
·         Overseeing or liaising with the kitchen.
·         Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises.
·         Enforcing health and safety rules.
·         Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cash flow.
·         Dealing with difficult customers.
Great rate of pay £30k plus bonus.
